Snowmobiling
Tours/Guided Rides
This is our MOST popular and MOST affordable option! This is generally for people who don't own a snowmobile. This is the best way to experience the Grand Mesa in the winter. Your guide will take you through pristine wilderness. You will see a world you didn't even know existed--forested trails, open meadows and unparalleled vistas.

We have ski-doo 600s for $179, 850s for $199 and a double deluxe for $199 per person (Second rider is $35 and must be at least 8 years old. Maximum weight is 400lbs). This affordable option is a snowmobiling all-inclusive! Each person receives a snowmobile, fuel, oil, and any clothing or other gear you may need, AND the snowmobile guide--however tipping your guide is appreciated. You will also need to purchase a equipment protection plan; these plans start at $19.
We usually start at 9:00AM so arrive by 8:45AM or BEFORE! You should be back and done before 1:00. The ride is about three hours in the saddle. (We can accommodate different start times as needed.)

Snowmobile Rentals
In some cases, we will rent snowmobiles to individuals without a guide. We don't offer this for everyone especially those who are unfamiliar with the Mesa, those with minimal backcountry riding experience, and when snow conditions are poor. Those who choose this unguided option are fully responsible for any damage to the sled and are not offered an insurance package. This price does not include fuel or gear. Oil is included.
We also offer snowmobiling backpacks for rent for only $35 (the pack includes a probe, shovel, saw, beacon, and radio. A $1000 value)
The price for an 850s is $399 per day, and the price for 600s is $299 per day. (Must be 21 years old)

Private Guides
Do you need a guide for your group? This option is typically for those who have their own snowmobiles and just need a guide to show their group the safest and best areas.
Many are unfamiliar with our mountain, how to manage safely in mountain conditions, and which areas are off limits. A guide will help keep you away from avalanche dangers and help you navigate the vast landscape.

At 10,500 feet we have some of the greatest snow in North America. Starting right from the Grand Mesa Lodge, you are already at 10,500 feet and so you don’t have to ride a washed out trail for the first part of your ride. World class riding begins a few hundred yards from the lodge! We get an average of 400-500 inches per year. We have excellent terrain, meadows, cornices, lakes, perfectly spaced trees, and unbelievable views.
We offer lodging--14 private cabins and a one-bedroom lodge suite. If you stay at the Grand Mesa Lodge, you will NOT need to trailer your snowmobile once you get here. The best riding starts a stone's throw from your cabin.
The lodge has a restaurant, which offers pizza and a selection of hearty soups--AND breakfast. The lodge also has a store, which sells a lot of essential items you may have forgot.
