                                                                           **About Our Boats**

-No reservations.  Boats issued on first-come-first-serve basis.  We have plenty of boats. 
-Both the canoes and the row boats can carry multiple people.  Row boats are more stable, where canoes are faster. Kayaks and Paddle-boards only fit one person. 
-Kayaks and paddle-boards can easily be taken to any lake on the Grand Mesa.  Our paddle boards are inflatable, we can pump it up for you or leave it deflated. Taking canoes or row boats off Island Lake is not practical. 
-If a boat is rented for consecutive days, you don't have to check the boat in until the end of your reservation.
-Guests are liable for damage and theft during rental period.  
-Lifejackets are included (per federal and state law, lifejackets are required. Life jacket laws are actively enforced.) 
-Paddles are also included, even if you are renting a motorized boat...just in case. :) 
-Motor batteries can run out.  If needed, we can provide you with a fresh battery. 
-No taxes are charged on boat rentals.
